According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, our nation has seen a dramatic rise in the number of antisemitic incidents in the last five months. In this workshop at 7 p.m. April 12, 2017, led by Shaare Emeth’s clergy, we will explore these questions:
Why is this happening?
What are the components that cause a particular action to be labeled antisemitic?
Is the antisemitism of today different than the antisemitism experienced by previous generations, and if so, how?
When confronted with antisemitism, what is the wisest way to respond?
Space is limited. Please RSVP by Sunday, April 9, to Shandi Greve Penrod, 314-569-0010, or online at www.sestl.org/login.
