This four-week Introduction to Mindful Parenting will be offered on Friday mornings beginning Feb. 19 from 9-10 a.m. at Congregation Shaare Emeth. In this class, led by Jewish mindfulness educator Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, parents will learn the basic tenets of mindful parenting and practices that will put these tenets into action at home.
Babysitting will be provided at no cost for preschool aged children ONLY.
Please contact Kendra at [email protected] to reserve babysitting.
Do you find yourself constantly running from one activity to the next, completing tasks one after another with hardly a moment to breathe? Do you wish you were more present or more available for your children? your spouse? yourself? If so, you may benefit from the practice of mindfulness.
Mindfulness is the practice of becoming aware and awake to the world around us. The practice of mindful parenting allows us to be more open and more present, without judgment or fear, to our lives and the lives of our children.
Whether the parent of a toddler or a teen, join us for study, discussion, meditation and friendship as we explore the challenges and surprises that mindful parenting can bring to our lives. Open to all.
