Dynamic, Exciting, Spiritual, Personal, Caring, Warm and Inviting!
Shaare Emeth is proud to be considered a leading Reform congregation in North America.
Whether singing and celebrating Shabbat together, exploring the insights and wisdom found in our Torah, or making a difference in our community we are a congregational family dedicated to deepening and enriching our connection to Judaism.
Our rabbis, educators, and synagogue staff invite you to be an active part of what we consider a very special congregation. All who wish to be members are welcome; no one is turned away for financial reasons. Each member is asked to make a commitment to the congregation that meets their financial ability.
Congregants are entitled to religious education for children, seats for High Holy Day Services, and an array of activities which include adult education, social action, Shabbat and holiday worship and celebration, family programs and much more. We are proud of the scope of these activities, and we welcome members and guests to find many ways to become involved as we share community together.
As an introduction to Shaare Emeth for those individuals and families considering membership we invite you to attend one or more of our programs. We welcome new members into our community by providing mentors, sharing special welcoming gifts, and hosting new member activities throughout the year.
For more information about affiliation please contact Rosalie Stein, Executive Director, at the temple office, 314-569-0010.
