DEADLINE FOR ROSH HASHANAH:
Online FASTPASS Pre-registration for Rosh Hashanah closed Monday, September 26, but you are welcome to walk in and register Rosh Hashanah morning at the check-in table ***beginning at 10 a.m.***
DEADLINE FOR YOM KIPPUR:
We have extended the pre-registration period for the Yom Kippur 'High Holiday Experience for Grades PreK-5' to the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 5.
A creative service led by Rabbi Jonah Zinn, hands-on learning activities, and fun with friends new and old. While parents are in services, your children will have Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur experiences all their own!
• ROSH HASHANAH – Monday, Oct. 3, 10:30 a.m.
• YOM KIPPUR – Wednesday, Oct. 12, 10:30 a.m.
We are asking all children and staff to wear service-appropriate clothes—slightly dressier than school clothes. This request will help set the tone to celebrate these holiest days of the Jewish calendar.
We do provide snacks as part of the High Holy Day Experience program. As your child’s safety is our number one concern, please plan on using our FastPass pre-registration to sign up online. This will allow us time to purchase safe snacks for your child. Please make sure to fill out the food allergy/sensitivity area on the registration form.
We work very hard to accommodate all children so that everyone can enjoy a meaningful experience. You can help us do this by using the FastPass pre-registration to sign your child up online and letting us know on the form what kinds of accommodations your child may need. This allows us time to set all children up for success. With advance notice, we can create visual schedules, train the staff on inclusion techniques, hire shadows if necessary, and a variety of other accommodations. We hope you will take the time to fill out the questions on the Pre-registration form so that we can begin planning for your child’s specific needs. We will of course attempt to make accommodations for walk-ins when necessary, however we are very limited in what supports we can provide without proper notice. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, contact Debbie Bram, [email protected] or 314-692-5308.
High Holiday Experience will be free for all families, regardless of when you register. However, FastPass online pre-registration will save you time and stress the day of the program—and offer some additional benefits (see below).
FastPass Online Pre-Registration will be available Friday, August 26, through Monday, September 26. Walk-ins are welcome the day of High Holiday Experience. However, pre-registering online will allow you these benefits:
*Online pre-registration closes Monday, September 26, at 5 p.m. After that time, you are welcome to show up that morning as a walk-in and register at the check-in table.
