ocated on 22 acres at Congregation Shaare Emeth, our camp makes full use of the extensive indoor and outdoor facilities. Campers can also utilize our low-ropes course to encourage teamwork and build community.
Our swim program is run by the YMCA of Chesterfield and includes both instructional and free swim days. All swim instructors and lifeguards will be employees of the YMCA. Camp Emeth staff will also be in the pool with our campers at all times providing extra help to the YMCA staff.
Jewish themes and meaningful hands-on activities are part of our daily programming. Each Friday, the camp celebrates Shabbat together with special programs including field trips, Yom Sport, Carnival Day, Israeli dance, music and more.
We have a full-time Israeli staff member, called a Shaliach, who allows us to provide authentic Israeli programming for your children. The Shaliach also provide the kids with a tangible connection to Israel.
Campers participate in our sports program everyday. Activites are age appropriate and engage our campers in non-traditional ways. The goal is to keep them active, learn good sportsmanship and unique ways to play traditional games. Our sports program meets the needs of any kind of camper.
